She's been my doctor for over 20 years but things have been going downhill lately. I've talked to her many times recently about pretty severe pain. Some of it is chronic but I have acute pain in my left wrist and right hip. She hasn't done much about either. MRI and referral was refused. About ten days ago she did prescribe a very short course of Tramacet. When I ran out, and the pain had worsened, I asked my pharmacist to fax in a refill request. This was Thursday, Fed 16th, in the morning. I talked to Dr Hollander's staff twice that day and was assured that the prescription was being prepared. It was never faxed to my pharmacy. Dr Hollander's office was closed on the 17th so the staff could all enjoy a wonderful 4 day weekend. The 20th is Family Day. The only way I can get anything for my considerable pain is to go to emerg and possibly convince a doctor there to prescribe. I am extremely unhappy with Dr Hollander and her staff. I was lied to and the staff there have obviously not been instructed as to how to respond when a patient has said "I am out and the pain is a lot worse". I will be looking for a new doctor in the very near future.

Not very impressed. Called twice yesterday re a prescription renewal. Told it was being looked after. No script as of 10:15 AM today. I am in considerable pain and all I get is voicemail when I call her office. So, I've been lied to and either Dr Hollander or her staff don't give a damn about the pain.

I'm a stubborn patient.I don't like to admit things I don't like to hear. Most Docs would have dropped me like a ball due to my persistent lack of following up on anything. And yet she persists; not giving up on me and I'd recommend her to anyone. She's good and not judgmental, will listen and try to compromise when she can.

very supportive, patient and sensitive to seniors. Made a house call when elderly mother unable to come into office.

My family have been patients of Dr. Hollanders for at least 15 to 20 yrs. now.If I could rate her higher on a personal note I would. She is sincere, very intelligent, has empathy, will listen, she explains the things you are feeling and has excellent follow-up. She is more than a 5, she is a 10! Shelley Berezowski & family.

Dr. Hollander is one great doctor. I know that when my kids are sick and I call she always has time to see them that day. She is a very caring doctor.
